Logan Henderson, She Drives 2013 version-Feat. RAS

"She Drives", originally known as simply "Drive",[1] is an unreleased song produced by Nicholas "RAS" Furlong. The demo track was recorded by Logan Henderson and was intended to be a Big Time Rush song. Furlong shared an extended preview of the song in a Ustream in early 2012, which was recorded by fans and later leaked to websites such as Tumblr and YouTube. According to Furlong, he hoped it would make the cut of the then-untitled third BTR album.[2]

"She Drives" became popular among fans due to the sexual undertones of its lyrics, in contrast to much of the band's existing discography. The unexpected response led Furlong into promise an eventual full release of "She Drives", while he clarified that the need to finish recording Henderson's vocals was the primary roadblock in the song's release. Furlong ultimately released a remix of "She Drives" on March 9, 2013, which combined Henderson's previously recorded vocals with an EDM buildup and drop. The audio file was available for download exclusively on RAS' Facebook page.

Lyrics[]

She see me in the rear-view mirror, put it in gear
Love it when she puts the pedal to the floor
Dancing on the flashing lights, she's driving all night
And still I keep on begging her for more
Nothing's holding us back so we can go faster
We're breaking all the rules, nobody's gonna catch us
Girl so we're speeding, speeding, speeding
And damn I love this feeling, feeling, feeling

When she drives, I let her drive all night
And we can go for miles and miles
Yeah I want a ride and she knows how to ride just right
And we can go for miles
She drive me crazy like oh whoa
Like oh whoa, like oh whoa, like whoa
She drive me crazy like oh whoa
Like oh whoa, like oh whoa, like whoa
She drives

So let the engine roll, rev a little more
I like when she making that sound
So just go into cruise control, let the drive slow
And nothing gonna stop us now
Nothing's holding us back so we can go faster
We're breaking all the rules, nobody's gonna catch us
Girl so we're speeding, speeding, speeding
And damn I love this feeling, feeling, feeling

When she drives, I let her drive all night
And we can go for miles and miles
Yeah I want a ride and she knows how to ride just right
And we can go for miles
She drive me crazy like oh whoa
Like oh whoa, like oh whoa, like whoa
She drive me crazy like oh whoa
Like oh whoa, like oh whoa, like whoa
