Jay Landers is an American record producer, songwriter, A&R executive, music publisher notable for his work with professional music artists such as Barbara Streisand, Johnny Mathis, Frank Sinatra and Hilary Duff.

Landers was asked to contribute songs and executive production for Big Time Rush. He was awarded "Special Thanks" on Big Time Rush's first studio release, BTR.[1] Prior and during filming for the show, Stephen Kramer Glickman shadowed him for a day in order to prepare for his role as fictional big-name music producer Gustavo Rocqué.[2]
