Henry F. Chan is an American film director and writer.

Biography[]

Chan began his television and film career in 1979, as an editor on the TV series Archie Bunker's Place. In 1986, he won an Emmy for editing an episode from The Cosby Show. He made his directorial debut directing A Different World. Since then, he has gone on and directed on numerous other TV series, such as Fresh Off the Boat, Kitchen Confidential, Scrubs, Sister Sister, Moesham, The Fresh Beat Band, The Kings of Queens, and Big Time Rush. In 2012, he directed his first Chinese Language film, 100 Days.
