David Kendall is an American writer, producer and director.
Biography[]
Kendall grew up in the Philadelphia area in his early life and later went to Wesleyan University in Connecticut, where he majored in film studies and government. He then directed and wrote the film Luggage of the Gods!, and got his first job in television on the show Growing Pains as a writer, producer and story editor. He was later promoted to executive script consultant and co-executive producer, respectively, while still serving as a writer. After the show ended, he became a writer, producer, and director on various shows, including Boy Meets World, Girl Meets World, Kelly Kelly, Odd Man Out, Phil of the Future, and Hannah Montana, Kirby's Buckets, Jonas, Cory In the House, Stuck in the Middle, Bizaardvark, and Melissa & Joey, the last of which he was also the creator of. He is also a prolific director on various Nickelodeon shows, including Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide and Big Time Rush, created by Scott Fellows, The Thundermans, created by Jed Spingman, and Zoey 101, iCarly, Victorious, Game Shakers, Henry Danger, and Danger Force, created by Dan Schneider.
