Big Time Rush has recorded a myriad of songs, demos, and alternate versions of tracks that have never been officially released. The following list encompasses studio-quality Big Time Rush recordings that are reliably known to exist. It includes songs not commercially or promotionally released by a reputable label, documented demo versions of songs not released in any form, early demo versions of released songs containing a substantial difference to the released versions (such as completely different melody). Some songs have been given to other artists for recording, and some of these tracks circulate via Internet leaks.

This list is ordered chronologically, by recording date, and does not include non-substantial rehearsal tapes or impromptu "jam sessions". Songs are only included if they have a confirmed title or audio snippet available in some capacity. Some tracks listed under certain album subheaders may not have been recorded for that particular album, but are listed as such simply to note the band's then-current album project at the time of recording.
