Airheads Big Time Rush

In 2011, Airheads and Big Time Rush did a promotional collaboration, with Airheads selling BTR-themed candy flavors. Each candy wrapper contained a promotional code that, when redeemed, entered the user into a sweepstakes contest that would give select winners the opportunity to hang out backstage with BTR at one of their concert shows.

A television commercial starring BTR was also created, which aired on Nickelodeon in late 2011.

Big Time Rush Airheads Commercial

A television commercial was filmed on September 27, 2011.[1][2]

The commercial opens with Kendall, James, Carlos, and Logan preparing to take the stage at their concert. They each take a bite of Airheads candy before running out to a chorus of screaming fans, only to find that their mouths are stuck and they are unable to sing. Logan impatiently gets Carlos' attention, who turns around and motions toward the red Airheads balloon, who pulls a lever backstage and fixes the problem. The band launches into a performance of their song "Love Me Love Me", which would later appear on their second studio album, Elevate.
